Various breed of sheep are raised and breed for their wonderful fibers that are used for felting, spinning and crafting. The sheep are shorn in the spring and provide us with long wool that has an open wavey crimp. The fleeces are put into felt batts or roving for ease of use. We recently added some Sheland colored sheep to our herd. We look forward to using their fibers in our fiber art work. We use the wool for needle felting that we call Tangle ArtTM.
